This fleece jacket is part of a unique collaboration with British cult designer Nigel Cabourn. The collection pays homage to mountaineering apparel and fabrics used in the 1960s when the Japanese Direttissima route was first climbed on the Eiger. Pontetorto merino wool fleece provides exceptional warmth while honoring tradition. Thanks to its outstanding insulating qualities, wool was the preferred outerwear material for alpinists in the sixties. The retro design features a jacquard mammoth motif and embroidered logo inspired by the original Mammut Garantie symbol.
